About Us

De Smet Jesuit was a founding member of the Mid-States Hockey Association beginning with the 1971-1972 season. We take great pride in our long tradition of hockey excellence, and have won 16 State Championships and have finished in the Final Four 35 times. Championships were won in 1972, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1990, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2010, 2023 and 2024.
